At Oshun PT we Focus on Women's Health
to help you avoid Invasive Surgery.

Some of these conditions have stigmas attached to them and can be dismissed as 'normal' side effects of aging and milestones in a woman's life - pregnancy, childbirth, surgeries, and menopause. Whether you are suffering from bowel, bladder or sexual dysfunction, recovering from a pelvic surgery, in the prenatal or postpartum period, or coping with chronic pelvic pain, we are here to help you.

Bladder, Bowel and Prolapse Challenges

Do you notice bladder leakage with coughing or exercise?
Are you bothered by bladder frequency or urgency?
Do you feel a persistent heaviness or pelvic pressure?
Are you struggling with constipation or bowel leakage?

Pregnancy and Postpartum Challenges

Are you wondering how to best prepare your pelvic floor for childbirth?
Are you struggling with pregnancy-related pains?
Have you been told you have an abdominal separation or diastasis?
Do you experience pain at your perineal or abdominal scars?
Are you apprehensive about returning to sexual intimacy with your partner?

Persistent Pain and Post Surgical Recovery

Are you struggling with pain during or after intimacy?
Do you notice vulvar or genital pain all the time or with certain activities?
Do you feel limited by back, pelvis or hip pain?
Are you unable to participate in work or exercise activities?

Do I Need a Referral?

No. Patients can be screened or evaluated by a physical therapist without a physician referral. If coordination with your physician or specialist is helpful, we support a team-based approach to optimize results.

What Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Can Look Like

Care is always individualized. Your plan may include hands-on manual therapy, coordination retraining, breath and pressure management, posture strategies, core strengthening, modalities like biofeedback and electrical stimulation, and a structured return-to-exercise progression.

Know What to Expect at Your First Visit

If you feel nervous about your first appointment, you are not alone. We start by listening, then complete a whole-body assessment to understand what is contributing to your symptoms. When pelvic floor muscle assessment is appropriate, it is discussed first and always under your control.

Start With Clarity

If your symptoms are affecting your daily life, the next step is simple. Request an appointment online or call to book directly. No referral needed.
